Mixing belongs to the most important basic operations of Process technology. In nearly all process of Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food Industries as well as Feedstock and Water treatment, mixing is undertaken with the object to accelerate the natural diffusion.

Although mixing is a very old process, even until recently with the most modern data process system, it is not possible to calculate in advance the exact theoretical conditions in the agitated vessel at any given time. An optimum mixer design can only be done if the latest specific development along with operational experience is applied together.

The task of the impeller consists on one hand to generate in the vessel a three dimensional flow field with large momentum, flow density and on the other hand to create in the multi-phase system on interfacial area as large as possible.

With a strong technical back up, we provide solutions such as:

  • Refurbishing: Scrap the old and bring in the New. We have accomplished highly successful refurbishing of agitators for a variety of applications.
Understanding and analyzing peculiar mixing applications by gathering data required i.e. the properties of fluid and process details of the batch, is one of our core competencies. If a particular mixer / reactor is equipped with traditional axial flow turbines, is not achieving desired mixing results, or is achieving desired mixing results but at excessive power requirements, it is a candidate for high efficiency specialized impellers. It is very often not necessary to replace an entire agitator with a new one to rectify these situations. This is an expensive solution. A more cost effective scenario is to consider replacing just the impellers while keeping the balance of the agitator intact (same Drive, Motor and Shaft). Flow controlled mixing applications such as Blending, Solid Suspension and Heat Transfer will benefit the most by refurbishing.

  • Appropriate Impeller Design: Optimised for your process, which results in better, yields & batch time improvements.
  • Power Savings: Most of the industries even today are operating conventional agitator systems, we provide power saving solutions. Reduction of 1KW in consumed power saves more than Rs. 35, 000/- per annum, ultimately affecting profitability.
  • Gearbox: Recommend use of Inline Helical or Planetary gearboxes which are gaining popularity for their higher efficiency and Better performance. Also they are maintenance free, as a wide range comes with sealed Lifetime Lubrication.
